Find out why Happy Home Buyers from Texas Choose Scenic 30A as their #1 Beach Community

When we first wrote this post 2 years ago, we knew Texans were choosing 30A as one of their favorite beaches. We knew from basic observation and personal experience. 

Since then, we are lucky to have Visit South Walton (www.visitsouthwalton.com) doing the all the hard research for us, putting together statistical information that targets where our visitors are arriving from.

To the left, we are including a slice of VSW's recent infographic called, "South Walton Visitors At A Glance."

It's pretty self-explanatory—the USA is broken into four regions, and the graphic also includes an international category. 

71% of our visitors come from the Southeast. And of the Southeast, Texans comprise 13% of the visitors, with Georgia as the only state with a larger percentage of 15%.

SO it's confirmed—Texans (insert a huge rosy heart) 30A!

It’s not hard to tell where our beach lovers (& buyers) are coming from. Popular regions, such as the State of Texas, present themselves to us as we live our lives each day on Scenic 30A.

How so?

Second home owners and vacationers stop and stay on Scenic 30A as a chosen destination. Many drive here from Texas. Their cars, of course, sport Texas plates.

On Scenic 30A, it’s not uncommon for two or three cars to pass by from the Lone Star State before seeing another popular state plate, or even a local Florida plate. More and more Texans are choosing our beaches.

Why, you ask?
