Seahighland Neighborhood Seagrove Beach Florida

Platted in the 1940's, Seahighland adjoins the east side of Old Seagrove. It's a place everyone cruises by on Scenic 30A or the Timpoochee bike trail, but many people never actually know it by name. Sea Highland hugs 30A to the north on Birmingham Street and to the south on Montgomery Street. Cuts between these two streets start westernmost with Headland, then follow eastward with Greenwood Avenue, Andalusia Avenue and ending at Dothan Street.

This old neighborhoood has gone through major changes over the recent years. Some of the grandest displays of Seagrove Beach architecture can be seen on the Gulf off Montgomery Street. Still though, some of Seagrove's old Florida style can still be found and enjoyed here.

Seahighland is comprised of 60 lots and has three neighborhood beach accesses at Greenwood Ave., Andalusia Ave. and Dothan St. Gulf front owners can also apply for a private beach walk.

The name fits, as Sea Highland has some of the highest elevations and views over the Gulf on Scenic 30A, particularly in the Seagrove area. Neighborhoods The Grove by the Sea and Sugarwood Beach are hidden and tucked back northward of Seahighland, accessed off N Andalusia and N Greenwood.
