Get to know your Market

No matter if you are a new agent or seasoned, it's important to know your market and build positive relationships with other agents in our community. We recommend everyone, when available, join the area MLS tours for the areas they service. 

Walking through homes in our marketplace is getting to know your product.

Unless you are showing homes on a regular basis, if you want to have a thriving career in our local real estate community, this is highly encouraged. We know it's not always comfortable going out there on your own. So reach out to the gotothebeach family (updates@gotothebeach.com); someone else will likely join you, and you will both/all be all the better for it in the end.

Open Houses

Sometimes we have to go back to the basics. Open Houses are a wonderful way to grease the real estate wheels when things get stagnant.

If you don't have a listing to hold open, someone else in the company probably does. Reach out and offer your services and see what is possible. The benefits are, this can help threefold. The Listing Agent will be happy because this is one more service offered to their Seller. The Seller will be happy, because they will experience us working for them. And you as an agent will be get to go out in public, be the expert, and meet potential buyers.
